Description

Lanthanum strontium manganite is a well characterized air electrode material for solid oxide fuel cells having zirconia based electrolytes. LSM typically works best at operating temperatures of 750 °C and higher, and has been a proven cathode in the SOFC industry for many years. This LSM powder is prepared with a slight A-site deficiency to prevent adverse chemical reactions with zirconia. This LSM cathode material can be applied by screen printing or painting after it is formulated into appropriate inks or suspensions. This LSM powder also can be mixed with one of our ceria-based electrolyte (GDC or SDC) or zirconia based electrolyte (YSZ or ScSZ) powders to improve cathode performance. If you need a different composition or particle size range for specific application needs, we can produce a custom LSM powder to your specifications.
